Baltoro Concordia K2 Base Camp Trek

K-2 Base
Camp and the Gilroy Memorial, a spectacular full day trip. From the
base of the K-2 there are extensive views up towards Savoia Saddle to the
west, and Windy Gap and Advance Base Camp on the Abruzi Ridge to the east.
The best views of K-2 are from Concordia,
the Abruzi Ridge clearly visible to the summit.
This is
one of the most scenic and spectacular mountain journeys on the planet.
It is unrivalled in its grandeur, isolation, and consistency of proximity
to some of the world’s highest and most impressive mountains. The route
is sustained, and is generally only suitable for persons with previous trekking
experience at medium altitudes. A robust level of fitness would be advantageous,
as well as the capacity to live in close quarters with others in a remote
environment for a period of 3-4 weeks.
Day 01 Islamabad
Arrive at Islamabad Airport meets assist and transfer to Hotel after Lunch briefing at Ministry of tourism in Islamabad Overnight at Hotel
Day 02 Islamabad - Skardu
Fly or Drive to Chilas (490 Km, 12 hrs) Fly to Skardu subject to weather (Incase no flight Drive to Chilas) O/ N at Hotel
Day 03 Chilas - Skardu (6/7 hrs)
Drive to Skardu Overnight at Motel
Day 04 Skardu - Askole (2900M)
Drive to Askole by 4x4 Jeep (6/7hrs) Overnight Camp.
Day 05 Askole - Julah (3200M)
Trek to Julah (6/7hrs).Overnight at Camp.
Day 06 Julah - Paiju (3600M)
Trek to Paiju 7/8 hrs Overnight at Camp
Day 07 Paiju
Rest Day. Free at leisure. Overnight at Camp.
Day 08 Paiju - Khuburchi (3800M)
Trek to Khuburchi (6/7 hrs) Overnight at Camp.
Day 09 Khuburchi - Urdukas (4100M)
Trek to Urdukas 5/6hrs Overnight at Camp.
Day 10 Urdukas - Goro (4400M)

Trek Over the Gondogro Pass 7/8 hrs Overnight at Camp
Day 15 Gondogoro
